Many factors can cause constipation, we will talk about a couple.
Poor diet- diet consuming processed foods, sugars, and alcohol can lead to not being able to empty the bowels. Dehydration is another factor here.
Stress- alters the hormones which can cause inflammation in the body along with muscle tension.
Lack of movement- many people have jobs where they sit at a desk for long hours making it difficult for movement.

Fiber slowly add if you normally do not consume. Water half your body weight in ounces up to 100oz. Warm liquids.
