This is a topic people still do not want to discuss. It happens in both men and women. Why does it have to be unbearable or a midlife crisis? I want longevity out of life so to me this is just another journey I will experience. It does come with some side effects to overcome.
The body is going to start showing some changes as hormones fluctuate. In men and women the 40s is the average when this starts to happen. How can we make this transition smoother so we can enjoy the ride working up to retirement.
You probably notice some changes happening so the question is what are they? These are basic general for both men and women.

Taking control of your health is essential, change diet, take supplements, add some exercise.
Diet: Women: magnesium is a great mineral for hormones try adding dark leafy greens, chia seeds, flax

B vitamins beef, sunflower seeds milk
probiotics keifer, saurkraut
support the liver with tumeric, vitamin c and alpha lipoic acid
omega 3 fatty acid salmon, walnuts, egg yolk
vitamin d3 sun (supplements take with fattiest meal or fish oil for absorption)
Men: Whole grains,
Vitamin D tuna, egg yolks
zinc beans, pumpkin seeds beef and pork
healthy fats avocado, olive oil walnuts
protein
fiber
Simple exercise to add is walking 30 minutes everyday is a great start for everyone. While walking be mindful notice the trees, the sounds.
